About QUEER ASTERISK
Founded in 2016 and based on Colorado's Front Range (Boulder/Denver), Queer Asterisk is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit clinical and community organization led by queer and trans clinicians that delivers affirming mental health care, group programming, and customized trainings.
The organization operates outpatient counseling (individual, family, relationship, group) alongside community programs and educational trainings for schools, health systems, and other organizations to increase LGBTQ+ cultural competency and access to gender-affirming care.
In recent years Queer Asterisk has scaled its programs and revenues while continuing to offer reduced- and no-cost services and free community groups to support queer, trans, and gender-expansive people across the Front Range.
