About Foster Source (dba Be The Source)

Founded in 2016 by former foster and adoptive parents, Foster Source is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides trauma-informed training, relief items, and therapeutic supports to foster and kinship caregivers and the children in their care.

The organization operates statewide in Colorado, partners with county and state child welfare agencies, and offers a mix of education (The Learning Source), material relief services, and sponsored therapeutic supports to stabilize and retain placements for children.

In 2025 Foster Source began rebranding to 'Be The Source' to reflect expanded services and a broader focus on supporting families impacted by the child-welfare system.
