About Kinetic Ensemble

Kinetic Ensemble is a Houston-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit string ensemble and chamber orchestra led by artists who curate collaborative programs, commissions, and recordings. The ensemble programs contemporary and newly composed repertoire alongside community-facing projects and partnerships with local and national artists. In the last 2–3 years Kinetic has expanded its presenting activity and partnerships, commissioning and premiering new works in collaboration with organizations such as the Houston Chamber Choir and the Monarch Chamber Players, releasing a recorded project, and presenting guest artists on its season. Its publicly filed Form 990 data shows steady organizational growth in recent fiscal years, reflecting increased contributed support and program revenue.
