The Reciprocity Collective
The Reciprocity Collective builds strategic, cross-sector connections to link people experiencing homelessness with housing, health, employment and supportive relationships that lead to long-term stability.
About The Reciprocity Collective
The Reciprocity Collective is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 81-3599541) that uses street outreach, coordinated case management, and employer/nonprofit partnerships to help people experiencing homelessness move into stable housing and employment.
TRC emphasizes whole-person, collaborative approaches—working with government agencies, health providers and community partners—to address the intersecting challenges of homelessness, mental/behavioral health, substance use, and involvement with the criminal legal system. In recent years TRC has focused program capacity on citywide initiatives (including Denver’s Roads to Recovery) and on expanding intensive case management for people with disabling conditions.
Notable achievements
Housing transitions for 130+ participants
Through coordinated partnerships with local agencies, TRC reports transitioning roughly 130 unhoused people with disabilities from shelters into their own homes with ongoing supports.
Citywide Roads to Recovery contract
TRC expanded services by providing case management and participant supports for Denver’s Roads to Recovery initiative, becoming a funded city contractor to deliver program services at scale.
Sustained participant engagement and basic-needs support
Across recent years TRC has consistently provided thousands of direct-assistance items (transportation, food, documentation support and care connections) and engaged several thousand participants through outreach and partner networks.
