CommonGood Medical (formerly Hope Clinic of McKinney) is a faith-rooted, donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit primary care clinic based in McKinney, Texas that provides free or low-cost medical services to uninsured and medically underserved residents of Collin County. The organization operates a main clinic in McKinney and a satellite clinic in Farmersville, and coordinates a network of volunteer and partner providers to deliver comprehensive services including primary care, specialty referrals, pharmacy support, and arranged low-cost outpatient surgery. In the last several years CommonGood Medical has expanded services and infrastructure: it opened a Farmersville satellite clinic (2025), launched a thrift social-enterprise to support sustainability (CommonGood Thrift), grew a provider network and patient assistance programs, and completed a capital campaign to acquire a new clinic facility to support expanded operations. The organization reports serving roughly 1,000+ unduplicated patients annually and continues to focus on reducing barriers to care for low-income residents in the region. Leadership includes physician-founder Steve Twyman, MD, medical leadership and a volunteer clinical staff supplemented by partnerships with local hospitals, surgical centers, pharmacies and dental providers to extend care options for uninsured patients.
