PASSION FOR FAMILIES

Passion for Families is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit child-placing and foster-care agency that provides temporary and permanent homes and wraparound supports for children removed from their family of origin. The organization operates trauma-informed foster care programs, specialized services for children with intellectual/developmental disabilities and autism, behavioral and mental-health supports, and caregiver training. Services emphasize individualized service plans, frequent case-management touchpoints, therapist-led interventions and a 24/7 on-call support model; the agency works collaboratively with Texas DFPS, local providers, and community partners to coordinate medical, educational and therapeutic resources. According to recent tax filings through 2024, the organization has grown materially in scale over the last 2–3 years, with program expansion and increased reimbursement and contribution revenue that supported expanded staffing and service capacity.
