NATIONAL CHARITY LEAGUE SILVER STAR CHAPTER

The National Charity League (NCL) Silver Star Chapter is an active Dallas-area chapter of National Charity League, Inc., organized as a 501(c)(3) mother–daughter philanthropic membership group (IRS ruling year 2016; EIN 81-4019321). The chapter follows NCL’s six-year program of community service, leadership development and cultural experiences for mothers (patronesses) and daughters (ticktockers).

Silver Star is a donor-facing, operating chapter with a public web presence on the national NCL site. The chapter reports more than 240 members representing multiple area schools, served nearly 4,000 volunteer hours in the most recent reporting year, and estimates an annual philanthropic impact in the local community of roughly $118,000 through volunteer time and program support. The chapter partners with numerous Dallas-area nonprofits (for example: North Texas Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House, SPCA of Texas, Meals on Wheels and Community Partners of Dallas) and runs regular membership, leadership and cultural programming for its members.
