Mission

At the Chanda Center for Health, people living with long-term physical disabilities are supported to create their own healthcare path, live independently, and be active members of the community. The Center provides accessible, integrative services — including acupuncture, massage, chiropractic care, physical therapy, behavioral health, care coordination, and primary care — to reduce health disparities, improve outcomes, and lower healthcare costs through compassionate, whole-person care.

About CHANDA CENTER FOR HEALTH

In 2024 the Center served 304 participants with 8,350 treatments; participant surveys reported high satisfaction and outcomes (95% reported improved overall quality of life, 88% improved mobility, 88% reduced pain, and 67% fewer medical emergencies).

Completed a comprehensive three-year strategic plan in late 2024 to guide sustainable growth, strengthen partnerships, formalize advocacy and education efforts, and expand capacity for participants and providers through 2027.
