INTERNATIONAL ESPERANZA PROJECT

International Esperanza Project (IEP) is a Dallas-based 501(c)(3) that partners with Guatemalan communities to deliver medical care, clean-home infrastructure, and education programs. The organization mobilizes volunteer clinical and surgical teams, builds smoke-free stoves and installs water filters in homes, and supports school improvement and vocational training. IEP adopted and revitalized Escuela El Molino and operates education programs (including BookTuk® mobile education and vocational training), while expanding in-country capacity through the purpose-built Esperanza Center. The organization runs recurring service trips and volunteer teams that provide hundreds of clinic visits and surgeries annually and works with local staff year-round to sustain impact. In recent years IEP has documented measurable outputs — including multi-day medical missions, stove-and-filter installations, and the graduation of both secondary-school and vocational cohorts — reflecting a donor-facing, active operating charity with an established web presence.
