About THE QUARTER PROJECT OF NORTHERN COLORADO
The Quarter Project of Northern Colorado is a Fort Collins–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that delivers hands-on STEM education to girls and gender non-conforming youth across elementary through high school levels.
Programs focus on confidence-building, career exposure and skill development through after-school classes, mentorship from STEM professionals, scholarships to summer STEM camps, and community outreach.
In recent years (2022–2024) the organization expanded program sites, secured foundation grants to support scholarships, and increased scholarship placements for local summer STEM institutes.

Foundation grant support
Secured multi‑thousand dollar education grants from community foundations (notably in the 2022–2023 period) to underwrite programming and scholarships.
Expanded program sites
Expanded regular GEMS offerings to multiple Boys & Girls Club locations across Fort Collins and Loveland, increasing local reach since 2022.
Increased scholarship placements
Fundraised and awarded scholarships enabling dozens of girls to attend local summer STEM institutes and camps in recent years.
