About VELOCITY RECREATION
Velocity Recreation is a volunteer‑run, coed homeschool sports league and registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers age‑appropriate recreational sports, enrichment classes and family‑focused outings primarily in the Westminster/Broomfield (Denver metro) area of Colorado.
Programs emphasize skill development, positive reinforcement, inclusivity and parent involvement; Velocity runs seasonal leagues and short‑term classes (soccer, softball, kickball, sport‑skills, climbing, field trips and adventure activities) and partners with community providers to expand offerings.
In recent years Velocity has grown its partnership programs (including a Colorado Homeschool Enrichment branch campus), established a family scholarship fund funded through community donation programs, and continued regular seasonal programming and community trips (2023–2025).
