About KULU DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION
Kulu Development Organization is a U.S.-registered nonprofit founded in 2017 by members of the Nuba diaspora; the organization lists 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status under EIN 82-0684318 on its official site. It focuses on restoring educational access and basic services for populations affected by conflict in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan.
Kulu operates a combination of education, agricultural and health-infrastructure projects on the ground in the Nuba Mountains, and conducts community meetings and enrollment drives to reconnect displaced children with schooling. Sangali Hospital construction
Initiated construction/rehabilitation at Sangali Hospital (waiting, labor and mortuary rooms plus bathroom and laboratory) to expand local health services.
