About Collaborative Healing Initiative within Communities (DBA CHIC)
CHIC is a Denver-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (tax-exempt) founded in 2017 to provide culturally relevant, whole-family supports that address economic mobility, mental health, youth violence, and justice-system involvement for women, girls, and families of color.
CHIC delivers school-based social-emotional and cultural enrichment, workforce training and pre-apprenticeship cohorts, reentry and case-management supports, and community convenings across the Denver metro area; in recent years the organization has expanded program capacity through multi-year grant funding and partnerships.
