About COMMUNITY FOOD CLUBS

Community Food Clubs is a nonprofit, member-based grocery model headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan that operates a low-cost, dignity-focused grocery for income-qualified households. Members pay a modest monthly fee for access to groceries (including a high proportion of fresh, perishable items) and are involved in governance and program design. Over the last several years the organization has grown into a high-volume local food-access hub, serving tens of thousands of people annually, moving large quantities of donated and purchased fresh food, and acting as an incubator and model for a statewide Food Club Network focused on healthy, affordable food access.
