Arts Mission Oak Cliff

Arts Mission Oak Cliff (AMOC) is a 501(c)(3) community arts and coworking center in Dallas that provides affordable rehearsal, studio, and performance space for local artists and small arts companies. Housed in a repurposed 1929 church, AMOC combines production facilities (a sanctuary performance space and a basement of studios) with programming such as artist residencies, classes, workshops, and subsidized rehearsal hours. Founded in 2017 by artists and local supporters, the organization has grown into a neighborhood creative hub that emphasizes accessibility, equitable pay for artists, and support for emerging work. In recent years AMOC has expanded subsidized programming, participated in TACA’s Arts Accelerator, and received foundation and municipal arts funding while reporting operating revenues in the low hundreds of thousands of dollars.
