About READY TO WORK AURORA
Ready to Work Aurora is the Aurora site of Bridge House’s Ready to Work program, a social‑enterprise model that pairs paid training jobs with one‑year housing and wraparound supports so trainees can secure long‑term employment and permanent housing.
The program operates social enterprises (notably Community Table Kitchen and an Outdoor Crew), a congregate Ready to Work House (50‑bed capacity in Aurora), and individualized case management and aftercare; combined sites in Metro Denver served growing cohorts and reported strong graduate outcomes in recent annual reports.
In the last 2–3 years Bridge House expanded the Ready to Work footprint (groundbreaking for an Englewood center in 2023 and an Englewood opening in 2025), and reported its largest graduating class and multi‑site impact metrics in the 2023 annual report.
Notable achievements
Launch of Aurora site (2018)
Ready to Work expanded from Boulder to Aurora in 2018, creating a 50‑bed Ready to Work House and extending the social‑enterprise employment model to Metro Denver.
Englewood expansion (2023–2025)
Bridge House broke ground on a third Metro Denver Ready to Work center in June 2023 and opened an Englewood location in 2025, increasing regional Ready to Work capacity and navigation services.
Graduation milestones & outcomes (2023)
In 2023 Bridge House recorded its largest Ready to Work graduating class to date (81 graduates across sites), reported nearly 500 total graduates since 2015, and documented strong aftercare outcomes (more than 80% of graduates housed and employed at 12 months).
