About National Junior Tennis and Learning of Fort Collins (NJTL FC)
NJTL Fort Collins (EIN: 82-3586810) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that uses tennis paired with academic support, life-skills education, and leadership development to serve under-resourced youth across Northern Colorado.
The organization runs year-round, mostly free or low-cost programs for ages roughly 5–18 (preschool through high school), including bilingual preschool tennis, lunchtime elementary programs, after-school offerings at Boys & Girls Clubs, and middle/high school leadership and competitive opportunities.
In recent years NJTL FC has expanded community reach: its 2024 community report highlights serving more than 200 youth and running events such as League Boot Camps, a Wimbledon Warm-Up, Middle School Boot Camp, lunchtime tennis at Putnam Elementary, and entries in the NJTL essay contest.

Published a 2024 annual report documenting program growth and impact, reporting more than 200 youth served and multiple community events and program expansions planned for 2025.
NJTL Curriculum Leadership
One of the original pilot sites for the First Serve life-skills curriculum and later contracted by regional USTA partners to develop tennis-specific leadership curriculum (STAR Search / SERVES).
NJTL Essay Contest Participation
Consistent participation in the national NJTL Essay Contest with regional entries; the chapter has produced section-level winners who advanced for national consideration.
