About Roxborough Running Club
Roxborough Running Club is a Colorado-based charitable nonprofit (organized as a 501(c)(3) and registered in Colorado in 2018) that organizes free community runs, no‑frills races, coaching and youth running programs across the Denver metro area and Front Range.
Founded by Wayne Pallas out of a desire to offer low-cost and no-cost running opportunities, the club has expanded since 2018 to include a winter race series, kids' summer running camps, and middle-school cross-country meets while growing its membership and volunteer base.
Notable achievements
Formal nonprofit formation (2018)
Transitioned from organizing local races (begun in 2014) to a registered Colorado charitable nonprofit (501(c)(3)) in 2018 to support expanded programming and fundraising.
Program expansion in 2023
Expanded offerings to include kids' summer running camps and a middle‑school cross‑country meet, marking a strategic growth into youth development and school partnerships.
Membership and event growth
