About Community Impact Fund
Community Impact Fund (EIN 82-4577516) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) public foundation focused on financial well‑being; it was granted tax‑exempt status in 2018. The organization builds and administers employer- and partner‑based charitable loan funds (called Impact Loans) that provide 0% interest short‑term loans with flexible repayment and incentives to build emergency savings.
CIF works through partner organizations (credit unions, employers, nonprofits and churches) to scale programs, deliver financial education, and operate technology and administrative platforms that manage loan applications, disbursements and repayment. In recent years the organization has expanded partner resources, launched membership and education offerings, and increased program service activity and funding.
