About NATIONAL COALITION OF 100 BLACK WOMEN DALLAS METROPOLITAN CHAPTER
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. — Dallas Metropolitan Chapter (NCBW Dallas) was established in June 2018 as the local chapter of a national advocacy organization focused on advancing leadership, health equity, education, and economic empowerment for Black women and girls. NCBW Dallas runs a Metamorphosis Mentoring Program for girls, provides annual scholarships to Dallas-area high school seniors, and offers economic-empowerment workshops (Sister-Nomic$) focused on financial literacy and entrepreneurship; the chapter reports mentoring about 65 girls and distributing roughly $15,000 in scholarship awards to date. In the last 2–3 years the chapter has continued public-facing programs and fundraising activities (including an annual Derby fundraiser and community workshops), secured advocacy support grants, and maintained active participation in national NCBW initiatives and local giving platforms to sustain programming and outreach.
