Sober Apartment Living Co

Sober Apartment Living Co (SAL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that develops and operates apartment-style sober living communities designed to support individuals transitioning from formal addiction treatment into independent, sustained recovery. SAL combines private, apartment-style housing with on-site resident managers, regular drug/alcohol testing, peer-community programming, and life-skills support to create a recovery-oriented, “real world” living environment. In the last 2–3 years the organization has expanded its portfolio and opened new locations, and its recent IRS filings show program-service-driven revenue and operational growth. SAL positions itself as an alternative to traditional shared sober houses by emphasizing privacy, stability, and structured supports (career and life-skills assistance, fitness/wellness access, and transportation assistance) to help residents sustain long-term sobriety and return to productive community life.
