About PILIPINO SENIOR RESOURCE CENTER
The Pilipino Senior Resource Center (PSRC) is a San Francisco-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2006 to serve Filipino/Pilipino older adults and their families in the SOMA and nearby neighborhoods. The organization delivers culturally sensitive senior programming, health and wellness education, case navigation, and community outreach.
PSRC runs recurring senior activity sessions (held on a weekly schedule), a community hotline, ESL and naturalization classes in partnership with legal outreach organizations, early literacy and parenting supports, and a breast-cancer support program (Kapwa Kalinga) in partnership with To Celebrate Life Foundation. PSRC remains active in local cultural events (Pistahan, Flores de Mayo, consulate events) and announced ongoing in-person programming into 2026, demonstrating continued, operating services.
The organization also produces community publications (including Tales of Barangay SoMA volumes and a senior-care volume released in 2020) to preserve and share seniors’ stories and to inform service planning. PSRC maintains partnerships across San Francisco’s Filipino service network, local universities, and health/legal providers to sustain outreach and program delivery.
