About MUSLIM YOUTH FOR POSITIVE IMPACT

Muslim Youth for Positive Impact (MYPI) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2018 that provides youth programming centered on Islamic identity, mentorship, leadership development, family support and culturally competent mental health services. MYPI operates programs including a mentorship program, the Adopt‑A‑Family initiative, Pathways to Success (tutoring and internships), and a Mental Wellness program that includes the MYPI Wellness House counseling access point. In the last 2–3 years MYPI advanced its mental health work by publishing a 2023 Mental Wellness learning survey and expanding counseling access, and continued community services such as refugee-focused Adopt‑A‑Family support, youth leadership placements, and partnerships with local coalitions.
