About PINKNEY FOUNDATION

The Pinkney Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in June 2018 by Preston and JaVonnie Pinkney to serve urban youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. The organization uses golf, arts, financial literacy, and technology-based programming to develop life skills, leadership, and educational opportunity for underserved children and teens.

Programming includes Ace Kids Golf and Girls Love Golf clinics (partnerships with local school districts and community parks), the Richmond Academy of Positive Productions (RAPP) music/production program supported through a City of Richmond ECIA grant, and financial-literacy and youth-development workshops. The foundation emphasizes partnerships with local schools, parks and recreation departments, and community organizations and reports a history of long-term local program leadership and youth outreach by its founders.
