About Mile High WorkShop

Mile High WorkShop is a Denver-based employment social enterprise that provides paid, on-the-job training through contract manufacturing, product repurposing, and fulfillment services to people rebuilding their lives after homelessness, addiction, and incarceration.

Originally launched as a program of Mile High Ministries, the WorkShop became an independent 501(c)(3) organization in 2019 and now operates a production and training facility to deliver workforce development and social-enterprise services.

The organization partners with local businesses for kitting, assembly, sewing, woodworking, laser cutting/etching, and packaging/fulfillment while operating program lines focused on sustainability and repurposing materials.

Notable achievements

Independent 501(c)(3) status (2019)

Transitioned from a program of Mile High Ministries to an independent nonprofit organization to expand its employment social-enterprise model.

Facility expansion and scale-up

Grew into a large production and training facility (operating near 19,000 sq ft) to increase capacity for contract work, training placements, and product lines.
