About INSTITUTE FOR CLIMATE AND PEACE
The Institute for Climate and Peace (ICP) is a Honolulu-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 83-1440386) founded in 2018 and tax-exempt since 2019. ICP focuses on the intersection of climate justice and peacebuilding, producing research, trainings, and community-grounded programs to support resilience in Hawaiʻi, the Pacific-Asia region, and other frontline communities.
ICP implements programs in information and education, collaboration, and policy transformation, working with local governments, civic partners, and international institutions to translate research into culturally appropriate, community-driven solutions. In recent years the organization has published regional research, produced annual impact reports, and secured institutional grants to scale programming and partnerships.
