About Mission Kids Community
Mission Kids Community is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity formed to support Mission Kids, a cooperative, bilingual preschool in San Francisco’s Mission District. The organization holds and stewards the property and capital assets that enable Mission Kids’ program and facility operations. In recent years Mission Kids Community completed a capital project that delivered a custom-built facility at 969 Treat Avenue and supports the preschool’s five-classroom program serving roughly 70–80 children. The organization continues to focus on maintaining an accessible, community-centered early learning program for low-income and multilingual families in the neighborhood.
