LITTLE FRIENDS AT HAB

Little Friends at HAB is a Jacksonville-based nonprofit preschool serving children from six weeks through VPK. The program operates on the campus of Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church and focuses on a whole-child approach that integrates music, movement, and creative learning alongside foundational early academics.

The organization is an active Florida not-for-profit that operates as a licensed child-care center and a 501(c)(3) public charity. In recent years it has continued as a VPK provider and sustained regular preschool operations, offering specialty offerings such as music (Little Strings, musical theater), kids yoga, and partnered enrichment like karate to support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Little Friends serves a small, community-scale enrollment (roughly on the order of 50+ children in typical years) with a staff sized to support classroom programming, and it has maintained state licensing and nonprofit filings while expanding its program offerings and community partnerships over the last 2–3 years.
