About MAKE VISIBLE
Make Visible is a Honolulu-based, donor-facing arts nonprofit and private-foundation–style organization that uses exhibitions, public programs, and partnerships to advance conservation, preservation and restoration through the visual arts. The organization is led by artist and founder Taiji Terasaki and operates as a registered 501(c)(3) entity with public tax filings and ongoing program activity.
Make Visible programs combine museum- and community-oriented projects, virtual galleries, and international exhibition partnerships to raise awareness about environmental interdependence and cultural preservation. In recent years the organization has both co-sponsored major local initiatives and presented artist-led exhibitions abroad while continuing grantmaking and charitable disbursements through its private-foundation filings.
