About SANTA CLARA PARADE OF CHAMPIONS

The Santa Clara Parade of Champions (SCPOC) is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit that organizes an annual parade and festival in downtown Santa Clara, a tradition tracing back to 1945. The organization positions the parade as a multicultural, city-wide celebration that highlights local bands, dance teams, community groups, and civic champions while raising funds for charitable initiatives. In recent years SCPOC has re-established and expanded the historic event (after a prior hiatus), introduced a Sports Fan Zone and prize awards for performing groups, and run year-round fundraisers and scholarship programs. The group works closely with the City of Santa Clara and regional sponsors to produce a free public festival and related fundraising events each fall.
