To provide a high-quality regional honor band experience that selects and develops talented high school wind and percussion students through auditions, sectional clinics, guest-conductor rehearsals, and a culminating public concert.
About NORTHERN COLORADO HONOR BAND
Northern Colorado Honor Band (NOCO Honor Band) is a regional honor band program that brings together high school band students from participating schools in the Poudre and Thompson area for audition-based ensembles, weekend rehearsals, and a public concert led by guest conductors.
Organized as a nonprofit education program (recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization with an IRS ruling year of 2019), NOCO partners with district band programs and area high schools to offer sectional work, full-ensemble rehearsals, and performance opportunities intended to advance student musicianship and music education in northern Colorado.
