PROJECT42

PROJECT42 is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Apple Valley / St. Paul area) focused on increasing access to the Christian gospel among the world’s unreached people groups. The organization partners with frontline missionaries and organizations to fund scripture translation, church planting, missionary mobilization, business-as-mission and compassion projects aimed at people groups with little or no access to the gospel.

Since its founding by Justin and Tara Mack, PROJECT42 has grown from an initial community pledge to a national partner network that distributes grants and resources to frontline partners. In recent filings the organization reported rapid growth in revenue and operations: fiscal year activity shows multi-million dollar annual revenues and a program spending rate reported at roughly 92% of expenses, reflecting a high share of funds directed to program partners.

PROJECT42 operates a donor-facing platform that raises awareness, convenes donors and leaders, and issues grants to front-line partners; leadership and organizational activity over the last 2–3 years has emphasized scaling grantmaking, mobilizing churches and supporting scripture and church-planting work among unreached populations.
