About HALFWAY HOME INC

Halfway Home, Inc. (operating as Halfway Home Pueblo) is a Pueblo, Colorado youth-focused 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded to support at-risk and underserved children and families through mentoring, life-skills education, and resource distribution.

Since 2019 the organization has run year-round programs including mentoring (The Support Squad), academic tutoring, a youth summer camp, and recurring community distributions (backpacks, coats, toys) designed to reduce barriers to education and healthy development.

Halfway Home combines programmatic instruction (Legacy Life Skills curriculum and Back on Track tutoring) with community events and direct assistance (Kids Closet, giveaways) to help children build social, emotional, and academic skills.

Sustained annual Backpack Giveaways

Multi-year backpack and school-supply distributions (annual events listed on the organization's event calendar) that support students returning to school.

Recurring Coat and Toy Drives

Annual winter coat distributions and Christmas toy giveaways conducted across consecutive years to meet seasonal needs of local children.

Expanded youth programming (Summer Camp)
