About Front Line Farming INC

Front Line Farming INC is a Denver-based nonprofit that operates community and urban farms, runs accessible farm-stand programs, and provides education and advocacy to build a more equitable local food system. The organization intentionally centers womxn and people of color in farmer leadership, offers pay-what-you-can and EBT-friendly distribution, and partners with community groups to expand food access. In recent years Front Line Farming has expanded operations across multiple farm sites on the Front Range (including Majestic View Farm, Celebration Community Farm, and Sister Gardens), undertaken advocacy and worker-centered projects (including fiscal sponsorship of Project Protect Food Systems Workers), and grown its institutional funding base. In fiscal 2024 the organization reported roughly $2.3M in revenue, $2.5M in expenses, and a program-expense ratio around 75%, reflecting continued program growth and multi-year operational scaling. Front Line Farming combines hands-on production (thousands of pounds of produce annually across its sites), community-facing distribution (farm stands, CSA and EBT acceptance), and farmer training and advocacy to address food access and leadership inequities in Colorado’s food system. Recent collaborations include partnerships with regional conservation and food-security organizations to expand training and outreach to historically underserved communities.
