About EYUMEMA USA INC

EYUMEMA USA Inc. is a U.S.-based nonprofit association (501(c)(3)) serving Manyu women in the diaspora and supporting community development projects in the Manyu Division of Cameroon. The organization combines cultural preservation, education, and direct community projects — for example scholarships, solar-power installations, clean-water (borehole) projects, and health-facility support — to improve social and economic outcomes for women, girls, and their communities. Founded from an earlier Manyu women’s association and rebranded as EYUMEMA in 2024, the group operates nationally through regional branches and annual conventions and maintains an active donor-facing web presence and public filings. Recent activity (2019–2025) includes an impact report and multi-site “Water for Life” and solar-energy projects that delivered boreholes, solar panels, and medical-equipment support to conflict-affected areas in Cameroon.

Notable achievements

Manyep “Water for Life” project

Led a multi-site clean-water and solar electrification campaign (Manyep Water for Life) that funded and installed multiple boreholes and solar panel systems across subdivisions in the Manyu Division, restoring water access and electricity to health facilities and villages.

Rebranding and national expansion (2024)

Completed an organizational rebrand from MOHWA USA to EYUMEMA USA in 2024 and expanded national programming and branch structure, strengthening governance and launching a youth wing to broaden outreach.

Scholarship & health infrastructure support

Provided scholarship programming and direct support to health infrastructure — including donation of medical equipment and solarization of health centers — as documented in the organization's 2019–2025 impact reporting, benefiting thousands in target communities.
