About TEXAS COUNCIL FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDIES

Texas Council for International Studies (TCIS) is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2019 to support implementation and growth of International Baccalaureate (IB) programs across Texas school districts. TCIS partners with IB World Schools and districts to provide program development, authorized IB professional development, curriculum planning, marketing support, and scholarship programs. In recent years TCIS has expanded its network of partner campuses across multiple Texas school districts (including San Antonio ISD and Longview ISD) and scaled program services so that program revenue constitutes the majority of its operating budget. The organization operates as a donor-facing public charity with published Form 990 filings and an active web presence describing its schools, board, and programs.
