About PROTECT THE GAME
Protect The Game is a U.S.-based nonprofit that offers multi-day officiating trainings across multiple sports for veterans and their family members, provides starter equipment kits, and connects certified officials with assignors so they can begin earning immediately.
Registered as a 501(c)(3) organization, PTG focuses on easing veterans' transition to civilian life through employment, community, and purpose while addressing the nationwide shortage of qualified youth and high school sports officials.
In recent years PTG has expanded nationwide trainings (baseball, basketball, football, softball, volleyball, wrestling), formed partnerships with veteran-support and officiating organizations, and launched annual fundraising events to support operations and scholarships.
