Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Health Fund (operating the Grosse Schweizer Sennenhunde Worldwide Database — GSSHWWDB) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization formed to provide a free, centralized repository of health and ancestry records for Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs (GSMD).
Since formalizing as a nonprofit (2021) and launching the public database (2022), the organization has built a large foundational dataset, established a volunteer board and founding-member support program, and focuses on data verification, research support, and breeder/owner education.
