About Colorado Legal Services
Colorado Legal Services (CLS) is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit legal aid organization that delivers free civil legal assistance to eligible low-income Coloradans and seniors through a network of 13 offices across every Colorado county.
In recent years CLS has significantly expanded outreach and direct representation: the organization reported 8,452 cases closed in 2024, connected with thousands through outreach events, and helped large numbers of people with eviction defense, consumer/debt, family law, and public benefits matters.
CLS marked its 100-year anniversary in 2025 and continues to combine direct courtroom representation, clinics, self-help tools, and pro bono partnerships to preserve housing, safety, and access to benefits for vulnerable Coloradans.
