Mile High United Way

Founded in 1887, Mile High United Way is the first United Way organization in the world, established to address the needs of Denver's growing population. Over the decades, it has evolved to meet the changing needs of the community, focusing on education, economic opportunity, and health.

Today, Mile High United Way serves a seven-county region in Colorado, including Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, Boulder, and Broomfield counties. The organization implements programs such as the 2-1-1 Help Center, Bridging the Gap, and United for Business to support individuals and families in achieving self-sufficiency.
