Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain (JA-Rocky Mountain) is a regional nonprofit that delivers financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career-readiness programs to K–12 students across Colorado and Wyoming. JA-Rocky Mountain operates experiential learning programs (including JA Finance Park and the Daniels Fund JA Dream Accelerator), mobile learning units, and educator supports to bring real-world economic and workplace experiences to students at low or no cost. The organization partners with schools, volunteers, businesses, and funders to expand reach and measure outcomes; recent initiatives include a new JA Free Enterprise Center, a regional merger to expand educator professional development, and mobile program deployment to rural and underserved communities.

Notable achievements

JA Free Enterprise Center opened

In 2023 JA-Rocky Mountain opened a 27,000 sq. ft. Free Enterprise Center that houses the Daniels Fund JA Dream Accelerator and the Robert & Judi Newman JA Finance Park, creating dedicated, scalable experiential learning labs.

Significant student reach (2025/26)

JA-Rocky Mountain reported reaching 119,317 students across 658 schools and 89 districts in the 2025/26 school year, reflecting substantial program scale and regional penetration.

Merger with Economic Literacy Colorado

Effective September 1, 2024, JA-Rocky Mountain merged with Economic Literacy Colorado (ELC) to integrate ELC’s educator professional development and expand no- or low-cost teacher training and program delivery.
