About Vail Health Clinics
Vail Health Clinics is the outpatient clinic network and outpatient services arm of Vail Health, a tax‑exempt 501(c)(3) community health care system serving Eagle and Summit counties in Colorado. The clinics provide multispecialty outpatient care including primary care, surgical subspecialties, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics and allied services.
In recent years Vail Health Clinics has been a central part of Vail Health’s systemwide investments in behavioral health, community health, research and mountain‑sports medicine—reinvesting surplus revenue into local programs, facilities and community grants to improve access and continuity of care.
Notable achievements
Opening of Precourt Healing Center (inpatient behavioral health)
Completed a new 28‑bed inpatient behavioral health facility designed for short‑term crisis stabilization and holistic treatment for adolescents and adults, addressing a regional gap in inpatient services.
Launch & growth of Eagle Valley Behavioral Health / It Takes A Valley
Established a coordinated regional behavioral health collaborative and a large fundraising campaign that has supported clinic openings, community grants, provider capacity growth and insurance acceptance for outpatient behavioral services.
Quality and patient experience recognition
Achieved high‑level patient experience awards and top percentile performance for emergency and patient‑experience measures while expanding service access and community programs.
