About LEARNING SOURCE

The Learning Source is a Colorado nonprofit that provides adult education, family literacy, English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) instruction, GED support and workforce-readiness classes through a network of community partners and online offerings. Founded in 1964, it is publicly described as one of the oldest and largest adult education agencies in Colorado and serves students from more than 50 countries. The organization operates classes and programs across the Denver metro area and throughout Colorado (more than 30 locations plus online), focusing on practical language, digital and basic-skills training that enable students to pursue employment, further education and greater economic stability. The Learning Source emphasizes volunteer tutor engagement, partner collaborations, and targeted programs (including AmeriCorps Digital Navigator placements) to expand digital literacy and access for adult learners. The Learning Source explicitly serves low-income adult learners and immigrant communities, offering a mix of free community classes and fee-based professional language courses to remove barriers to employment and social integration.
