Community Foundation of Northern Colorado (NoCo Foundation)

The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado (now operating publicly as NoCo Foundation) is a nonprofit public/community foundation and a qualified 501(c)(3) organization serving Northern Colorado since 1975. It provides fund stewardship and philanthropic services for individuals, families, and organizations to support local charitable causes.

As of late 2024 the Foundation reported managing and administering over 600 charitable funds and more than $200–$230 million in assets and distributed more than $12 million into the community in FY24. The Foundation meets national standards for community foundations and administers donor-advised funds, endowed and non-endowed funds, scholarships, and discretionary grantmaking.

In the last 2–3 years the organization has completed a brand refresh to NoCo Foundation, expanded its regional convening and disaster-response role (accepting disaster funds previously held by a local partner), and planned a 50th anniversary community celebration in 2025 to mark five decades of local philanthropic leadership.
