About Colorado Art Education Association
The Colorado Art Education Association (CAEA) is a volunteer-led statewide nonprofit organization that supports K–12 art educators, museum educators, art education students, and community partners through conferences, workshops, publications, and grant programs.
CAEA is a registered 501(c)(3) organization focused on advocacy for equitable access to high-quality visual arts instruction and on building professional capacity via two annual conferences, webinars, and the state journal Collage.
In recent years CAEA has expanded its teacher microgrant program, hosted regional and statewide conferences with robust participation, supported Youth Art Month exhibitions and student scholarship opportunities, and secured public arts funding to grow member services.

Teacher Microgrant Fundraising (2024)
Conference auction proceeds raised $6,417 in 2024 to fund CAEA microgrants for educators; the program awards multiple $250 supply/PD grants and several $500 project grants to members.
Expanded conference participation (2024)
Fall 2024 advanced studio classes reported strong turnout (example: 179 registrants for advanced studio programming), reflecting growing in-person engagement after pandemic-era disruptions.
Public arts grant award
