About Carbondale Arts
Carbondale Arts is a community arts nonprofit founded in 1974 and is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that programs exhibitions, festivals, education, and public art across the Roaring Fork Valley.
The organization operates The Launchpad arts hub and projects such as the Rosybelle Mobile Maker Bus, the Creative Apprentice Program, and an annual calendar of exhibitions and signature events that draw local residents and visitors.
In the last 2–3 years Carbondale Arts has continued gallery programming (Valley Visual Art Show, Deck the Walls), returned popular community programs (e.g., Green Is the New Black fashion events), awarded artist fellowships, and produced the annual Mountain Fair and other marketplace/First Friday activations.
