Children's Diabetes Foundation
The Children’s Diabetes Foundation (CDF) is the fundraising arm of the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, a registered 501(c)(3) organization that raises philanthropic support for type 1 diabetes research, clinical care, patient education and community programs.
About Children's Diabetes Foundation
Founded in 1977 by Barbara and Marvin Davis, CDF raises funds to support the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes and programs that serve people living with type 1 diabetes across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region.
CDF supports clinical programs, research, education and family-centered services—publishing educational resources (Pink Panther books), operating patient- and family-focused programs, and producing major fundraising events that underwrite care and scientific work.
In recent years CDF has continued to support large-scale events and conferences (including the Carousel of Hope and The Carousel Ball), expanded educational offerings and maintained programs that reach thousands of patients and families served by the Barbara Davis Center.
