About Dance Alliance of the Pikes Peak Region
Dance Alliance of the Pikes Peak Region (DAPPR) is a long-established nonprofit dance presenting and education organization serving the Colorado Springs / Pikes Peak region. It evolved from Colorado Springs Dance Theatre and has a multi-decade history of bringing national and international dance companies to the community.
DAPPR is a verified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that runs public performances, school outreach (PIVOT), after-school and summer programs, and an annual scholarship competition (Esther Geoffrey). Recent seasons (2023–2025) included touring presentations and expanded school-matinee access while maintaining scholarship and tuition-assistance programs.
