About Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation

Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation (CBSF) is a community-focused nonprofit that funds and supports youth snowsports programs in the Gunnison Valley rather than delivering direct programming itself.

Founded as the Crested Butte Ski Club in 1978 and reorganized under its current name in 2012, the Foundation awards need- and merit-based scholarships and partners with local programs (for example Crested Butte Nordic, Ski for PE, and Cranor Hill free Wednesdays) to increase access to snow sports for local children.
