About RAISE THE FUTURE

Raise the Future is a Denver-based 501(c)(3) child-welfare organization that works to connect youth in foster care with caring adults and to support families and caregivers so placements are stable and permanent. The organization operates adoption and recruitment programs (including Heart Galleries), family support and in-home navigation, and training for caregivers and professionals; it also provides capacity-building services for states, tribes, and territories as part of federal partnerships. Raise the Future publishes audited financials and annual impact summaries and in recent years has reported multi-state programming (Colorado, Nevada, Utah and partner work in Missouri and beyond) focused on reducing the time youth spend in foster care and increasing permanency outcomes.

Recent reach (FY ending June 30, 2025)

Served 1,176 youth and 1,843 families in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025; 147 youth were connected with permanent families during that year.

Heart Gallery recruitment

Operates Heart Gallery photographic recruitment exhibits and online listings across multiple states (including Colorado, Nevada, Utah and partner galleries) to increase visibility for youth waiting for permanency.

Training & capacity building

Delivered training and capacity-building services to thousands of caregivers and professionals (1,400+ individuals served through training in recent reporting) and provides AdoptUSKids-related state/tribal capacity and engagement services.
